a Sapphic Fairytale

When love is a fairytale, all the world stops to watch.

This kind of love bears an uncertain future and yet an incredibly palpable present. The lovers only see each other’s souls, while the world holds their breath awaiting the soul song to be released. It is these epic stories that move us to our knees - in hope, in fear, in lust and in true longing.

But where will this story end? It starts so simply in desire, a true sapphic connection.

Ballad of Silk & Steel

You call, and I come—was it choice or design?
Your hands trace my wrists, lace fate into mine.
A queen draped in shadow, a servant in silver,
yet who is the pawn, and who is the giver?

Your lips are a promise, your touch is a snare,
I kneel as you whisper, though I pull at your hair.
Is this surrender, or is it a game?
Who holds the dagger, who sings the name?

You press me down, but I arch to meet—
power shifts where our pulses beat.
If I stay, will you stay? If I fall, will you follow?
Does love forged in fire burn bright, or burn hollow?

Venom & Velvet

We rode where the earth burned gold,
sunset fire tangled in your hair,
your voice a tether, pulling me closer,
your crown a weight I could never wear.

You led, and I followed—
or was it the other way around?
Each step a battle, each glance a wound,
each touch a war never won.

Did I ever choose this road?
Did you?

At the river’s edge, I poured the wine,
watching your lips, waiting, wanting.
Your throat swallowed my freedom,
your breath hitched—your eyes met mine.

I caught you as you fell,
held you as you trembled,
as if love could have saved us,
as if I hadn’t been drowning too.

And as you reached for me—
for air, for something unnamed—
I kissed your parted lips,
tasting the poison, the passion,
the ruin we made of each other.

and bound by blood, by oath, by love—I am yours, even in ruin.

the end.
